Soggy But Happy at Plantation Field International

posted in: KFP News | 0

We got a bit wet Sunday at Plantation Field International in Unionville, PA. In anticipation of the weather, there were some changes to the cross country course to avoid soggy going. The CIC2* schedule was adjusted so that the division completed both show jumping and cross country on Saturday. The CIC3* then had fresh tracks to run on Sunday although the grounds crew still worked overtime to keep the footing as good as possible throughout the day.

The Kingfisher Park Equestrian team had a great go! Clayton Fredericks and FE Ophelia finished 8th in the CIC3* division, which ran cross country in the worst of the rain. This was Ophelia’s first CIC3* run since Plantation last year. It’s great to have her back at this level!

Clayton and FE Stormtrooper finished 8th in the huge CIC2*-B division, adding only a few cross country time penalties to their score. Dana Cooke and FE Mississippi, aka Miss Perfect, finished 14th in the same division.

On to Stable View!
